Social Awareness And Rehabilitation Centre (SAARC Trust)
Social Awareness And Rehabilitation Centre (SAARC Trust) is a nonprofit organization established in the year 2011 at Udumalpet. We focused on the Udumalpet area people don't have proper food, shelter, children's education, etc. Our objective is to ensure that there is continuous sustainability of income-generating projects for the tribal people in the Udumalpet.

Creation of a self-reliant community by way of mainstreaming the poor and underprivileged masses towards all-around development through effective utilization of all resources, conservation, and preservation of the environment, improved opportunities for child education, financial inclusion, skill development, entrepreneurship & women empowerment.

To develop an optimal mechanism for society especially deprived sections, with a commitment to sustainable livelihood & improved quality of life which is achieved through different developmental programs & effective application of local resources in association with the community.

Free eye checkup camp
We have organized a free eye checkup camp at Papan kulam village on 12-05-2019. Mr. Selvaraj secretary of our organization, inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp. Dr. Rohit and their team examined 85 patients while 15 were referred the eye surgery. And we distributed free medicine and lunch packets to the visitors.
